Based at the famous Peacock Hotel in Rowsley near Bakewell. The day will start late morning to facilitate travel. The forage will start from the hotel and will be followed by a pre-prandial illustrated talk about wild food and medicinal plants. We will be visiting the ancient medieval organic parkland around Haddon Hall - a fascinating area not usually accessible to the public. Participants will then enjoy a three-course fine dinner in which some of the ingredients will be locally sourced. Bed and breakfast at the hotel will be available.
