Saturday March 17th Two Talks - Wild Flowers of the Peak District and A Floral Anthology

Patrick will give two illustrated talks during a day that runs from 11.00 am to 3.00 pm.
A look at flowers of the Peak District with reference to different habitats, geology, climate and the position of the Peak. Based on the best-selling book written by Patrick Wild Flowers of the Peak District published by the Hallamshire Press.
Stories about plants (and some fungi) will look at medicinal and other uses of plants along with usage during the great war and folklore. Based on Patrick,s book Patrick's Florilegium.
